What is Career Counseling?
If you need assistance selecting a major or program, career counseling is a MUST. Counselors can help you explore educational and career interests, determine realistic choices based on your abilities, interests and values, build study and life skills and clarify your educational and career goals.
Career Counseling helps to:
Clarify career goals and objectives
Define career interests and abilities
Understand transfer information and requirements
Learn more about general career/decision making. |

How do I get Career Counseling?
If you just want basic information about programs and careers, feel free to meet with one of our Advisors or Counselors to discuss your questions. This is done on a walk-in basis. However, if you are undecided, are interested in doing some more involved career related research (including taking interest inventories, aptitude tests and more extensive discussions about potential careers or majors), you can schedule an appointment to meet with a Counselor.
Please contact the Counseling Department on the campus most convenient to you to request a Career Counseling appointment.
Remember: Talk with a counselor to discuss possible career testing and assessments. |
