The Daytona State Foundation is a not-for-profit, Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) corporation chartered under Florida Statutes to serve as a direct support organization of Daytona Beach College. It was formed and remains exclusively to benefit the educational endeavor of the college. Since 1974, the Foundation has provided financial assistance to students as well as funding for critical needs that are beyond the scope of the College's budget. The Foundation embraces the concept of the College mission as adopted by the District Board of Trustees. Management of Foundation affairs is vested with a self-perpetuating Board of Directors from the community that the College serves. Directors receive no compensation for their services. |
