Dance technique workshop concludes with Friday performance

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (June 5, 2008) - To conclude an exhilarating week of instruction in a unique contemporary dance technique developed by Lester Horton, a special performance by workshop participants will be held Friday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Theater Center at Daytona State College.

The Horton Technique Summer Intensive has been held atDaytona Statesince 1998 and this year features guest instructors such as General Hambrick, Leon Von Brown, Ronaldo Bowins, Gerrad Allexander, Margo Blake and Angela Armstrong.

The performance is free and open to the public.

The Theater Center is located in bldg. 220 on DBC's Daytona Beach Campus at 1200 W. International Speedway Boulevard.
