Daytona State extends registration hours

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Aug. 7, 2008) - In an effort to meet the needs of our students and potential students, Daytona State College announces extended registration, advising and testing hours until Aug. 29.

"With a majority of our students working as well as attending class, these extended hours will make it easier for them to get in and take care of meeting with advisors or finalizing their registration," remarked Tom LoBasso, Vice President for Enrollment. "While the Daytona Beach Campus has always had these hours, we're now opening up our other campuses so potential students can enjoy the same convenience."

Daytona State's extended registration hours will run as follows:

Daytona Beach Campus - 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday

DeLand Campus - 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday

Deltona Campus - 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday and Thursday

Flagler/Palm Coast Campus - 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday

New Smyrna Beach-Edgewater Campus - 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday and Thursday

Students should finalize their registrations as early as possible to ensure the best availability of the classes they need to take. Eight-week and 16-week classes start Monday, Aug. 25.
