Develop your digital photography skills with Daytona State
DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Aug. 7, 2008) - Develop your digital photography skills with a six-session course offered by the Center for Community and Professional Education at Daytona State College.
Use your own digital camera to improve your photographic results with the assistance of Roger Linke. With more than 20 years experience, Linke is a graduate of the Daytona State photography program and has worked exclusively in the digital realm since 2002.
"Digital cameras have created an explosion of interest in photography, however many people are disappointed with their imagery," explained Linke. "This 18-hour course is designed to provide students with instruction and practice in all aspects of digital photography, both technical and aesthetic, and to achieve greater success."
Classes meet from 9 a.m. to noon on six consecutive Saturdays beginning Aug. 30 and continuing through Oct. 4, at Daytona State's Daytona Beach Campus located at 1200 W. International Speedway Boulevard. Cost is $149 plus supplies - Linke will provide the required list of materials on the first day of class.
Participants should bring with them their digital camera, owners manual and have basic computer skills. In addition to learning how to use their own cameras, students will use Adobe PHOTOSHOP CS3 software.
