Ice sculptures top final seating for semester at Cafe 101
DAYTONA BEACH, FL (July 9, 2008) - Culinary students at Daytona State College's Cafe 101 will have the opportunity to showcase their ice sculpting talents during the semester's final session of the popular student-run restaurant - session starts Monday, July 14 and concludes Thursday, July 31.
The session that features Catering and Buffet Management, demonstrates the students abilities to prepare elegant buffet menus and brings them out of the kitchen to man the serving stations.
The teaching café and kitchen, tied to Daytona State's College of Hospitality and Culinary Management, will begin limited seating by reservation only for lunch Monday through Thursday. Reservations can be made for 11:30 a.m. or noon.
The restaurant is run entirely by students under the supervision of the College's culinary professors/chefs.
For $9 (including tax), lunch patrons receive an appetizer, entrée, dessert and beverage. Vegetarian meals are available by request. Gratuities are welcome and help fund student scholarships. MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover are accepted at Café 101; patrons also may pay with cash.

The restaurant is located in the Mori Hosseini College of Hospitality Management on Daytona State's Daytona Beach Campus, 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd.
