No closure plans for Daytona State
DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Aug. 20, 2008) - Daytona State College is not planning to close any of its campuses as Tropical Storm Fay moves through the area. All campuses will be open on Thursday, Aug. 21 and Friday, Aug. 22. In addition, Enrollment Services will be open on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., to assist students preparing for the start of the Fall semster.
College officials will continue to monitor the storm's projected path and its potential impact on this area. Students, faculty and staff are urged to check local radio and television stations, as well as the College's Web site, DaytonaState.edu., for further updates.
