The administration, professors, and faculty are the heartbeat of the Dayspring Bible College & Seminary and they consist of genuine, godly men and women who have truly given of themselves to the cause of Christ. 

Our Founder — Dr. James A. Scudder, started the Dayspring Bible College & Seminary in 1982. Dr. Scudder’s vision to reach the world with the clear gospel message never wavered. He understood the importance of training men and women to be obedient and honoring to the Lord, coupled with a zealous vision for souls.

The vision of one man, who went where God led him and remained faithful while enduring many hardships along the way, is why we have Dayspring Bible College & Seminary today.

Each one has proven themselves to be faithful, moral, and compassionate leaders who are dedicated to training the next generation. Students will experience first-hand their faithfulness and dedication to the Lord as they see these people of God selflessly give of themselves as they labor to  train them.   

The first building blocks of learning at Dayspring are laid by quality professors that are able to teach at the highest level and are experts in the fields that they are teaching. The professors that are teaching at Dayspring don’t just offer academic knowledge but offer well over 1,000 years of combined practical ministry experience to go alongside the classroom academics they are imparting to the students.  

There is another aspect that is incalculable: the genuine love and care the professors and faculty have for each student. They are not just teaching and guiding the student toward a degree or preparing them for a career path of their choosing, but ultimately, their desire is to mold a life and equip the student to have an eternal impact for Christ.
